Berlyn Wedgeworth of Gulf Shores wins national weightlifting titles

Berlyn Wedgeworth of Gulf Shores won the National Masters Championship in weightlifting on April 1. Berlyn won 1st place in his weight class and also best overall lifter in his age class. Berlyn has qualified to participate in the Pan-American Championships that will be held in Canada this June, and he hopes to qualify for the World Championship which will be held in August in Barcelona. Berlyn (pictured) also claimed National Masters Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He trains at A.B.B. CrossFit in Gulf Shores.
