Catholic Services sponsors Christmas Sharing Fund

Catholic Social Services of Baldwin County is collecting funds to provide food and toys for the less advantaged families and seniors through its annual Christmas sharing program. Last year Catholic Social Services provided toys and gifts to 270 children and provided holiday food boxes for over 750 individuals.
The Christmas Senior Program provided holiday bags for 175 elderly in Baldwin County. This year parents will select three gifts for each child ages birth through 16, and families will receive holiday food the week before Christmas through the Christmas Sharing program. Stocking stuffers and supplies needed to wrap presents will be available to families when they collect the toys and food. Catholic Social Services and other local churches have established a network to facilitate providing food for those in need. Donations of money, toys, food and miscellaneous items are always welcome. Contact Phyllis Beam at 251-947-2293 to make a donation or inquire about services offered.
