Deadline to apply for Impact 100’s five $90,000 grants is May 1

During a gathering at the Fairhope Nix Center on Tuesday, April 12, Impact 100 Baldwin County announced to a large crowd of new and returning members an exciting and successful conclusion to its 2017 Membership Drive. Thanks to the donations of generous members and supporters across Baldwin County, the group will be awarding 5 grants of $90,000 each in five categories: Arts and Culture; Education; Environment; Preservation and Recreation; Family, Health and Wellness.
The number and size of the grants each year depends on the number of Impact members plus additional donations received from other supporters in the county.
The deadline for nonprofits to submit a Letter of Intent is May 1. Upon receipt of the Letter of Intent, Impact will send a link to the online application. The deadline to submit grant applications is June 5.

Impact 100 Baldwin County is a women’s philanthropy organization founded in 2008.
After presenting the 2017 grants totaling $450,000, the group will have awarded 27 agency grants in an amount close to $2.5 million.
The 2016 recipients were South Baldwin Community Theatre, South Baldwin County Library Cooperative, The Family Center and Under His Wings.
The goal of Impact 100 is to improve the lives of residents of Baldwin County by awarding transformational grants to fund meaningful projects proposed by local nonprofits.
