Fairhope Christmas Parade to hit the streets on Dec. 2

The Annual Fairhope Magical Christmas Parade takes to the streets of Fairhope on Friday, December 2. The parade begins at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Morphy and Section Street, and continues down Section to Oak St. The excitement will build as more than 60 parade units dazzle the crowd in anticipation of Santa Claus’ arrival for the holiday season. 3 Choral Society Concerts
There will be two evening Eastern Shore Choral Society Christmas Concerts.The first will be on Tuesday, November 29th, at the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church and the other on Thursday, December 1 at Fairhope United Methodist Church. Both will begin at 7:30 p.m. A third concert will be presented at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4th, at Fairhope United Methodist Church. Tickets for the concerts are $15 and may be purchased online at escs.org.
Santa Saturdays Dec. 3 & 10
Santa will be visiting Fairhope on December the 3rd and 10th for Fairhope’s Santa Saturdays. Santa will be in front of the Fairhope Museum of History in downtown Fairhope from 10a.m. until 12 p.m. for children to visit. Parents may bring their cameras to take pictures.
New Year’s Eve Downtown
The City of Fairhope will again be hosting their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration in the streets of downtown Fairhope. Residents and visitors are invited to bring their families and ring in the New Year. The festivities will take place at the corner of Fairhope Avenue and Church Street featuring live entertainment, children’s face painting, plus fireworks once the clock strikes twelve. Don’t miss this exciting downtown celebration in Fairhope!
Many downtown restaurants will be open for those who wish to eat in downtown and then just hangout until midnight. Section Street will be left open to through traffic.
