Foley’s Snook Youth Club receives Alabama Council on Arts grant

The Snook Youth Club (also known as SYC) is pleased to announce that it has received a grant of $6,900 from the Alabama State Council on Arts (ASCA), the state arts agency.
SYC is a center of arts and academic enrichment, offers three types of programming: After-School , Summer Day Camp and Adult classes. The arts component of the SYC program provides Violin, Guitar, Recording, Dance, Beading, Drama and Art lessons to participants. All three programs participate in cultural field trips and meaningful artistic experiences. Over 250 people will be served by this grant.
This public support enable Snook Youth Club to reach new audiences, provide the highest quality programming, and demonstrate the importance of arts as a component for quality of life in Alabama. The Snook Youth Club is also a partner agency of the United Way of Baldwin County.
