GSUMC Chancel Choir Holiday Concert is Dec. 11

Many Christmas favorites will be on the program when the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Chancel Choir presents its annual holiday concert in the church sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 11. There is no charge for the concert and reserved seating will be available for annual GSUMC concert sponsors.
Vocal soloists will include soprano Marsha Guyer of Gulf Shores and tenor Joseph Lucion of Pensacola. Popular local trombonist Don Lewis will perform along with violinist Chelsea Smith and trumpeteer Dr. Michael Brown, both of whom will play with some of their students. Teenage singer/songwriter Caitlin Sommerville, David Brackett, Ali Livingston, Chandler Wells and Julie-Ann Brazell will also add their voices to the program.
In addition to traditional selections by the GSUMC choir under the direction of Cody Johnson, Director of Worship Arts, the Women’s Chorus under the direction of Marcia Gillian will also present several numbers. Church organist/pianist Jackie Dahlman will accompany the choir. Ms. Dahlman and Sandy Tyer will also present a piano/organ duet.
