As members of the Gulf Shores Garden Club, we would like to award a $1,000 scholarship to a 2019 graduating senior of the Gulf Shores High School. We also want to include a scholarship to a former Gulf Shores High School student currently enrolled in a community college or university. These students will need to be enrolled in a higher learning institution in the fall of 2019; and pursuing a career in one of the following studies: horticulture, agronomy, agriculture education, floriculture, urban and rural planning, botany, landscape design, ecology, forestry, wild life science, biology, plant pathology, environmental concerns or conservation, land management or any related fields of study. Our requirements and application can be obtained through the counselor’s office at Gulf Shores High School, The Gulf Shores Garden Club website or one of the following members of the Gulf Shores Garden Club; Sue Foskett or Diane Farnham.
