Pictured: Gulf Coast veteran rocker Larry Hester started writing songs at the age of ten. By 14, he was performing at local events. At 19, he moved to Los Angeles. Hester wrote for and appeared in both film and television while in L.A. writing in a style that featured catchy melodies backed by pure rock, pop and blues foundations. After returning to Mississippi, he reunited with his longtime friend and drummer Tommy Noland in Biloxi and formed HESTER along with Chris Loepke on guitar and Rick Gamard on bass. Their sound has been described as a unique display of original rock and blues with an alternative Southern flair.
