Lifelong Learning Institute spring term begins March 6

The Eastern Shore Institute for Lifelong Learning is now accepting registrations for its 2017 spring term, with some courses starting on March 6. Options range from Spanish for Beginners to Story Telling and You to The War and Peace Book Club. Art instruction, photography, music instruction, history, current events, religion, science, philosophy, life skills, meditation classes are among the other options.
Classes such as The Essentials of Starting a Part-Time Business taught by Mike Healy (251-504-1173) are as little as $9 per.
Courses are held mostly in Fairhope, but also in Daphne, Spanish Fort and Foley. The institute’s emphasis is on enjoyment and self-enrichment. Instructors share a passion for teaching and bring a wealth of personal experience to the classroom.
Now in its 40th year, ESILL is known as “The School for the Fun of It” because of its emphasis on student interaction.
