Mulligans headline Dec. 11 Frog Pond Christmas Party

The final Sunday Social House Concert at the Frog Pond in Silverhill is the venue’s annual Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 11 beginning at 2 p.m. The Mulligan Brothers (pictured) will headline, and Oh Jeremiah will open.
The house concerts are intimate and unique, and you must be on the guest list to attend, as it is not open to the public. Visit frogpondatbluemoonfarm.com to be added to the guest list and reserve seats for the Christmas party.
At Blue Moon Farm, patrons bring their own chairs and beverages and are encouraged to participate in a communal covered-dish dinner. Overnight camping is allowed for out of towners.
Partly through word of month and partly through its membership in Folk Alliance International, Steele’s music socials have attracted many of the country’s best singer-songwriters and musicians.
The venue is as distinctive as the performers. The Frog Pond outdoor stage is under a 200 year old Cedar tree. Steele and her friend Grayson Capps, a Fairhope based songwriter, took inspiration for the series from the famed Midnight Rambles conducted by the late Levon Helm.
As Steele describes it, the core idea is to bring musicians and serious listeners together in an informal but respectful house concert setting where the focus is firmly on the music and community built through artists and listeners.
