Republicans host Pork & Politics May 26 in Robertsdale
Gubernatorial candidates will participate in post lunch forum

The Baldwin County Republican Party will host “Pork & Politics” on Saturday, May 26 from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale. The event will provide an opportunity for voters to meet Republican candidates for county, district and state offices in the upcoming June 5 primary election. The public is invited and approximately 50 candidates are expected to attend.
Pork sandwiches and hot dogs will be served from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. During the lunch hour guests will have the time to visit with candidates, discuss their views and ask questions of those present. Following lunch and a short introductory program starting at 12:30 p.m., gubernatorial candidates will participate in a forum moderated by ALGOP Chair Terry Lathan. Gubernatorial candidates Mayor Tommy Battle, Scott Dawson and St. Senator Bill Hightower are confirmed to participate in the forum.
