Roadside Glorious, BeachBilly’s booked for Studio Amped shows

Two bands with local ties have been booked for this season’s WSRE 11th season of StudioAmped. The public is invited to attend production of the televised music series, to be recorded live in the station’s Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio at Pensacola State College.
StudioAmped showcases the original music of local and regional artists. All concerts are free. Doors open at 6 p.m. Shows start at 7 p.m.
On Thursday, Sept. 27, the Perdido Key based BeachBilly’s (T-Bone Montgomery, Mark Sherrill, Dave Caluger
James Daniel, Pat McCann) will play a set.
Roadside Glorious, a New Orleans based band featuring Gulf Shores High grads Basch Jernigan (vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Aydan Closson (drums) on Oct. 4.
On Friday, Oct. 5, three soon-to-be-announced artists selected from the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival lineup will perform in-the-round. That festival is directed by former Frank Brown Songwriters Festival coordinator Reneda Cross.
