Adcock (July 3), Reefers (July 19), Troubadours (July 23) book Wharf shows
Five shows in one week during Memorial Day Weekend
The Wharf has added Gavin Adcock on July 3, Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band on July 19 and The Turnpike Troubadours with Muscadine Bloodline and The Creekers on July 23 to an already stacked slate of shows at the Orange Beach venue. Tickets are on sale for all 18 scheduled shows at the 10,000 seat venue that has been an economic juggernaut since it opened on May 27, 2006 with a sold-out Hank Williams, Jr. concert. Visit ticketmaster.com or the Wharf box office for ticket info.
The May 23 HARDY concert is the start of a Memorial Holiday week that will include five concerts in one week, concluding with Jelly Roll on June. 2.
Hardy (above) blended country with rock and metal with a mega-hit song (One Beer) that sparked his rise from successful Nashville songwriter to headline artist. A native of Philadelphia, Mississippi, he graduated from Middle Tennessee State with a degree in his chosen field and quickly made his bones by co-writing major hits such as “Up Down” (Morgan Wallen), “God’s Country” (Blake Shelton), and “Simple” (Florida Georgia Line).
His own performing career took off with his third album, the critically acclaimed the mockingbird & THE CROW, which he released in 2023. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
A five-time ACM award winner and two-time CMA award winner, HARDY has also won three CMA Triple Play awards, was named the 2022 BMI Country Songwriter of the Year and is a three-time AIMP Songwriter of the Year.
