Alabama Gulf Coast summer zoo camps through July 25
Summer Zoo Camp is offered for six individual weeks through July 25 (closed July 4 week) at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. This camp offers new and exciting adventures for students who have completed kindergarten through fourth grade. Campers will learn through hands-on experiences how to be a zookeeper, what it takes to run a zoo, how to care for animals, and learn to be great conservationists.
Zoo Camp Theme Weeks include: June 16-20: Not All Superheroes Wear Capes – Animal Abilities; June 23-27: Predator vs Prey – What do Animals Eat?; July 7-11: Before They’re All Gone – Endangered Species and Conservation; July 14-18: It’s a Zoo Around Here – Habitats vs. Exhibits; July 21-25: Design-a-Zoo & Zookeeper Olympics.
Registration is open until each camp is full. Cost is $225 per camper, or $200 per camper for zoo members. More info: alabamagulfcoastzoo.com.
