Ancient Aviators will meet July 6 at American Legion

David Booth will talk about during the July 6 Ancient Aviators social group gathering (with proper COVID precautions) at American Legion Post 44 in Gulf Shores at 9 a.m.
The group, formed in 2002, gives aviators and others a chance to “tell their story.”
A full breakfast is available for $6 at 8:30 a.m., and visitors are always welcome. The group meets the meet the first Tuesday of each month Info: 51-990-8258 or bensman84@aol.com or 251-990-8258.
Booth started as Marine sniper in Korea, and as a navigator in a Marine photo squadron flying AD’s, he logged over 25K flight hours. He earned the prestigious Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award and, as an A & P mechanic, the companion Master Mechanic Award. He managed an airport and handled flight training at FedEx for 23 years.
