Aug. 9 Village of Hope Jamboree for foster programs

Families across Baldwin County are invited to come together for a day of fun, connection, and purpose at the Village of Hope Jamboree on Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of South Alabama’s Fairhope campus. The event’s purpose is to raise awareness and support for local children in the foster and adoption system. Proceeds will be donated to the Baldwin County Foster and Adoptive Parent Association.
Expect free food, live music, a kid zone with a bouncy castle, face painting, games, a mini-pony, sweet treats from Bahama Buck’s, Cool Beans Ice Cream, and fresh lemonade. On-site mental health professionals and foster/adoption resources will be available. More info: (251) 974-4626.
