Baldwin Pops free concert March 8 in O.B.

Baldwin Pops will present its annual John Allen Memorial Scholarship Concert on March 8 at 7 p.m. at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center, located at 23908 Canal Rd on the Orange Beach High/Middle School complex.
The concert is free and high school seniors from Baldwin County who plan to continue their musical involvement in college will perform with the band. When he passed away in April of 2003 at age 80, John Allen was the oldest member of the Baldwin Pops. He started playing tuba at the age of 74.
