Ballyhoo artist applications now open

Applications are now open for artists to apply to the 2026 Ballyhoo Festival scheduled March 7-8 at Gulf State Park adjacent to Lake Shelby in Gulf Shores. Artists can apply at ballyhoofestival.com until Nov. 15. The family-friendly fest is in its 12th year and draws thousands of visitors from all over the United States. Fine art and cultural exchange are the two components that create a different atmosphere for locals and tourists. The 100 juried artists accepted into the fest will vy for $6,000 in cash prizes.
