Busy September planned at G.S. American Legion

September will be a busy month at Gulf Shores American Legion Post 44, located at 6781 Hwy. 59. Members will honor first responders with a bell ceremony on Sunday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. On Friday, September 14 the Post will conduct an Air Force tribute to celebrate the 71st birthday. On Friday, September 21, the Legion will honor National POW/MIA Recognition Day, with a POW/MIA table ceremony to honor those that are still missing. Last, for a little fun, the Legion will have a Hoe Down Party – basically a country/western theme night – on Sunday, September 23 from 5-9 p.m. Dress for fun and bring your dancing shoe.
