Chef registration open for Aug. 23 Tailgate Cook-Off

Registration is now open for teams who wish to participate in the Coastal Alabama Chamber of Commerce sponsored Third Annual Coastal Tailgate Cook-Off Challenge at The Wharf on Saturday, Aug. 23 from noon until 3 p.m. The entry fee is $100. Sampling tickets are $20 and include 10 tickets. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and additional sampling tickets will be available. Teams/individuals will be putting together their best sandwich related dish as they compete for a golden ticket to the World Food Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in the sandwich category. Attendees will vote on a People’s Choice Award. The winning team will receive a trophy and prize package.
