Cookin’ with Carolyn Easy Chuck Roast

1-1/2 lbs. chuck steak
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 can tomato soup
Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Brown in heavy fry pan.
Put meat in roaster or baking dish. Lightly brown the sliced
onion and sliced green pepper. Place on top of meat. Rinse
pan with small amount of water and pour over meat. Pour
tomato soup over all. Cover and bake for 3 hours at 250
degrees F. This will make its own gravy. Even less tender
cuts of meat come out tender. Serves 4-6. Enjoy!
