Cookin’ with Carolyn Grilled T-Bones

Grilled T-Bones

1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. olive oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. honey
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt (or less)
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 beef T-bone steaks (16 oz. each)
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 11 ingredients; add steaks. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Drain and discard marinade. Grill steaks, covered, over medium heat for 6-10 min on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (medium-rare, 145 degrees on a meat thermometer; medium, 160 degrees; well-done, 170 degrees). Yield: 6 servings.
