CSC seeks help introducing jar project to local churches

The Christian Service Center needs volunteers to introduce its Jar Project plan to fellow parishoners at the churches in its service area, as it continues to help families in need with food and emergency aid in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Ft. Morgan.
The concept is simple! Just take a jar home and put your change in it every day until it’s full. Empty the change into a bag and return it to CSC or your church and then start over.
“If you will step up and take this project to your church, you will be a true blessing to the Center.’’ said CSC Director Linda Chappelle.
David Saunders (pictured) will be happy to assist volunteers with printed material that will make it simple to implement. David will also share his experience and “how to” knowledge and supply all the jars needed. For more info, call David at 251-752-0280. The total raised through the jar project is approaching $15,000.
The Christian Service Center is located at 317 Dolphin Ave. in Gulf Shores. Office hours are 9 a.m. – noon Monday thru Friday. Info: 251-968-5256 or cscgs.com.
For more than 25 years, the Christian Service Center has been a “Hand Up” rather than a “Hand Out” agency and is still a 100% volunteer agency.
