Dream Center breaks ground on new facility in Foley

The Dream Center of Baldwin County broke ground on its new Foley facility at 18460 Underwood Rd. on April 25, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the organization and the communities it serves.
The new building will significantly expand the organization’s capacity to offer vital resources including recovery programs, life skills training, family services, and educational support. The Dream Center’s mission to provide individuals and families across the county with hope, healing, and practical support.
“This new facility is more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a symbol of transformation and opportunity for individuals who need a fresh start,” said Joe Aldrete, the non-profit’s executive director. “We are here to walk with kids through some of life’s hardest moments, and this expansion allows us to do that more effectively than ever before.”
Founded in 2021, the Dream Center has become a cornerstone of compassion and restoration in Baldwin County, offering programs aimed at helping kids overcome cycles of abuse and addiction. The new building will include expanded classroom space, counseling and recovery meeting rooms, a full kitchen, and administrative offices, as well as areas for youth mentorship and community engagement.
