Free faith & finance course starts Feb. 19 At Snook Club
During the fall of 2018, the Snook Youth Club of Foley, offered a program to individuals in our community with the goal of assisting them in understanding and improving their skills in dealing with their finances through Biblical and economic principals.
Through the twelve-week course, participants addressed issues such as understanding emotional relationship with money, overcoming financial challenges, learning to save and spend wisely, dealing with debt, financial institutions, and credit reports. The goals were to learn to manage money, to live more simply, and to give more joyfully. The class was made possible with support from Wells Fargo and Trustmark Bank, and Ecumenical Ministries, and lunches provided by Foley United Methodist Church. The sessions were led by Patrice Tiggs and Mark Mathias. The next course begins February 19 from 12 noon – 2pm.
The program is free and lunch is provided. If you are interested in participating, please contact Mark at Snookf&f@gmail.com or call Patrice at 251-943-1483.
