GlenLakes to host Optimist junior qualifier on June 9

GlenLakes Golf Club in Foley will host the Qualifying tournament for the International Optimist Junior Championship on June 9. The finals will be held at Doral Country Club in Miami.
“We were fortunate enough to have players from this site to compete in last year’s event, and more that qualified,’’ said GlenLakes General Manager David Musial. “The fee is only $85, and is a great opportunity to participate in a world-class event.’’
There are three age groups for girls and four age groups for boys, and the tourney is open for kids 10 to 18.
