Golfers Raise $6,800 for BCHM: The Baldwin County Heritage Museum Golf Scramble was recently held at the GlenLakes Golf Club. 61 golfers participated with these winning team members: Ken Fletcher, Dick Taylor, Jim Lorenz, Mike Williams. Golfers enjoyed contests on several holes, raffle drawings, auction and lunch after the game. Thank you to all Hole Sponsors, Gift Donors, Golfers, BCHM staff and volunteers who made the Scramble a successful fund-raiser of $6800 for the Museum. The free Museum is located on US Hwy 98 just 1/2 mile east of Elberta and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. The focus is to show how the settlers of Baldwin County lived and worked. Schools, scouts and 4-H groups regularly tour the buildings and grounds. Adult groups are also encouraged to call ahead for tours – (251) 986-8375 OR bchm@gulftel.com.
