Grayson Capps plays afternoon Fat Tuesday gig at Big Beach
Grayson Capps and his mates, including Corky Hughes, will be
back on Pleasure Isle to close out carnival with a gig beginning at
1 p.m. on Fat Tuesday (Feb. 25) at Big Beach Brewery in Gulf
Shores. Baldwin County’s (Fairhope High) best homegrown songwriter
and showman, Grayson plays every song of every set with
fervor and passion, showing equal respect for the song and the
audience. That is impressive, if only because he has been doing
exactly that for three decades. It’s a beautiful thing to witness,
especially when you can get caught up in the magic right here on
