Gulf Shores will implement non-profit grants program
Gulf Shores has launched a nonprofit grants program to support eligible nonprofits that provide direct services to Gulf Shores.
Nonprofits can apply for up to $2,000 per grant cycle (with a maximum of $4,000 per year) to help fund projects, events, or essential resources that benefit Gulf Shores.
“This is a tangible demonstration of the City’s commitment to supporting organizations that truly impact Gulf Shores residents. We want to ensure that those providing meaningful services in our community have the resources and support necessary to continue their important work,” Mayor Robert Craft said.
Applications for the fall cycle will be accepted through Aug. 15. Nonprofits do not need to be physically located within Gulf Shores, but all funded projects and services must directly benefit the Gulf Shores community. Grant funds may be used for project-based needs, events, or critical resources, but cannot go toward salaries, debt service, or political lobbying.
