Hickory St. in Foley will close to traffic for a month

Hickory St. in Foley will be closed to traffic until around May 10 while crews work to repair damage to the roadway. The street will be closed between West Section Ave. and West Magnolia Ave.
Detour signs and message boards will be placed to notify drivers of the closure and alternate routes.
Foley City Council voted in February to approve the resurfacing project to repair the effects of settlement around sewer lines.
