Industry & writing seminars Nov. 10 & 17 at Phoenix X

A free workshop about pitching songs in Nashville is scheduled at Phoenix 10 condominiums (west side next to Flora-Bama) from 10 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m. on Nov. 17. Beginning at 10 a.m., publishers Dallas Gregory and Cheri Cranford of Song Rocket Music have had hundreds of cuts by major artists. They will discuss the realities of how songs get pitched to artists and answer questions about music publishing!
Beginning at 1 p.m., one of Nashville’s best song evaluators, Bruce Miller (pictured), will listen to songs and give us input. Bruce has evaluated over 14,000 songs.
On Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. – noon and 1-3 p.m. at the Phoenix X Condos meeting room, a panel of experts will answer questions that only a music industry insider would know about booking, publishing, film and TV. Lou Spoltore’, Sr. V.P. of three music companies, and Sheree’ Spoltore’, founder & president of Global Songwriters Connection, and Queenie Mullinix of Washington Street Publishing comprise the panel
From 1 – 3 p.m., Lou & Sheree Spoltore’ will listen to songs and give each writer their own list on how to evaluate their songs.
