The Sand, Songs, & Cinema series continues at the Village Green at Gulf Place on the beautiful beach at Gulf Shores on July 22, with a concert by Jesse Taylor Perry starting at 6:30 p.m. A movie screening of Shark Tale will follow. The Gulf Shores Lions Club will sell food during the event. Attendees should bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
Baldwin County native singer/songwriter/musician Taylor Perry appeals to audiences of all ages with his soulful sound and wicked guitar licks. He is a student of all musicians and genres, he is comfortable playing the Beatles as he is old time country.
Shark Tale tells the story of an underachieving fish named Oscar who falsely claims to have killed the son of a shark mob boss Don Lino in an attempt to advance his community standing. Oscar teams up with the mobster’s younger son Lenny to keep up the facade.
