John Popper of Blues Traveler plays at Flora-Bama Aug. 31

One of the most highly regarded harmonica players in the world, John Popper (pictured) of Blues Traveler, will be playing at the Flora-Bama on Friday, Aug. 31 as a special guest of the Mobile based band, Yellowhammer.
The show starts at 10:30 p.m. in the tent stage and only standard door cover charges will apply at the door. The Flora-Baam is locarted on the Gulf of Mexico at the state line. More info: florabama.com.
Blues Traveler first hit the charts with 1994’s Four and the single “Run-Around.” He has released 12 albums with the band in addition to his solo work. He has also written an autobiograpy, “Suck and Blow: And Other Stories I’m Not Supposed to Tell.”
