In a special presentation at their First Friday Forum event, the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber recently presented the Island Spirit Award to one of their own, administrative assistant Katy Petrovics. Katy’s nominations had this to say about her, “Katy began her journey working for the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber on August 26, 2011. Since then, Katy has truly embodied what it means to have Island Spirit. She manages her job here at the Chamber, works another job, as well as volunteering countless hours of her time to make this Island a better place for everyone. She will do anything for any of her coworkers and is always going beyond average to help people.
