Lafitte & Grand Parade roll in Downtown P-Cola

The Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade rolls through Downtown Pensacola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, and the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade follows on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
The route for all Palafox parades during construction is instead of crossing Garden St. and traveling down South Palafox St. to Main St., both parades will cross Garden St. and travel down Jefferson St. to Main St.
The Lafitte parade floats are already impressive, but they look even cooler when they’re completely lit up. Catch candy, beads, toys, stuffed animals, bouncy balls, local swag and, of course, Moon Pies.
The Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade draws more than 100,000 people and hundreds of floats and lasts about four hours.
