March 15 party will also feature 1975 pricing on draft beer
Entertainers Lisa Zanghi (2 p.m.) and Brent Burns (4 p.m.) will help owners David Bodenhamer and Gerald King (co-owner Nancy Peyer passed away in 2018) celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sea-N-Sunds Restaurant & Oyster Bar (405 E Beach Blvd, in Gulf Shores) on Saturday, March 15. The festivities start at 11 a.m. with 1975 pricing on draft beer and oysters on the half shell. Established in Gulf Shores, AL in 1975 as one of the island’s original family-friendly restaurants. Stretching on a pier over the sugar-white sand overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the restaurant has always taken pride in offering dishes passed down for generations, including Grandma Bodenhamer’s secret recipe! gumbo.
“Our customers have become family over the years and our restaurant is home to many of them. We love hearing stories about their memories made within our four walls and have laughed, cried, and raised a cold one with them,’’ Bodenhamer said.
