Little Lagoon Living Shoreline Workshop is April 14

The Living Shorelines Property Owner Workshop for those living along Little Lagoon will be held on Monday, April 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the Gulf Shores Activity Center. There will be a presentation about living shorelines and then opportunities for individuals to see how their shorelines can be rebuilt. To register or for more info, visit msucoastal.com.
A living shoreline is a natural approach to shoreline stabilization that uses native plants like marsh grasses, along with other natural elements to protect against erosion and improve coastal habitats while also being more environmentally friendly than traditional bulkheads for shoreline protection.
