MAAAC announces new fundraising initiative for O.B. schools

Orange Beach City Schools and the Mako Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC) announced a unified sponsorship effort in advance of the $46.1 million athletic complex set to open this summer. Local and regional businesses can now play a vital role in supporting student success through sponsorship packages will include prominent brand placement, VIP access, and special event recognition. MAAAC has already contributed over $1.5 million to support OBCS in the past three years.
“This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to empowering our youth and strengthening our community,” said Superintendent Randy Wilkes.
“With the new state-of-the-art athletic facility, our sponsors will be able to advertise their business in a place that will gain much more attention. We will also be able to add to our current events and allow opportunities for sponsors to network before football games,’’ said Matt Fetner, MAAAC president.
