May 9 Village of Hope Jamboree supports foster/adoption families
Community leaders and local organizations invite all Baldwin County families to the Village of Hope Jamboree 2026, a free, family-friendly event dedicated to raising awareness and support for children and families in the foster care and adoption system scheduled Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of South Alabama Baldwin County campus, located at 10 Summit St N. in Fairhope.
Village of Hope is a collaborative effort among community leaders and groups working to address gaps in foster care-related services across Baldwin County. The Jamboree combines fun activities, entertainment, and meaningful outreach to inspire greater community involvement, encourage foster and adoptive families, and strengthen support networks for local children in need. Attendees can expect a day of connection, info, opportunities to learn how to get involved, and family-oriented entertainment. “More children in Baldwin County need stable, loving homes than we currently have families ready to help,” said event coordinator Mitchell Lee. “The Village of Hope Jamboree gives our community a joyful way to come together, learn, and take action to make a real difference.”
