Motorcyclist reaches speeds of 100mph fleeing police

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Officers arrested a 19 tear old man, Aiden Cox, after a high speed motorcycle chase that started at Main St. in Daphne and continued to Fairhope before the 19 year old suspect was arrested in Daphne. Police attempted to pull over the motorcyclist for not properly displaying a license plate before he sped at speeds that sometimes reached more than 100 mph. He was arrested after crashing his motorcycle near U.S. Highway 98 and Daphne Avenue in Daphne, according to A BCSF press release.
Cox, 18, received minor injuries and was treated before he was arrested and charged with felony attempting to elude law enforcement and reckless driving.
