O.B. City Schools Chairback Sponsorships Garner $400K So Far
Orange Beach City Schools chairbacks ae nearly sold out, as sponsorships have already exceeded $400,000 in advance of the 2025-2026 school year. Fewer than 25 stadium chairback seats remain available, as more than 200 of the 223 seats have
already been claimed. Reserved seating in the gymnasium for volleyball and basketball is also being rapidly secured. In just over two months, sponsorship commitments from nearly 40 individuals and businesses have soared, highlighting the strong community and corporate support behind Orange Beach City Schools’ academic, artistic, and athletic programs.
The momentum is being led by five Diamond-Level Sponsors, each contributing $50,000 or more: Buffalo Rock; CoastAl Orange Beach; Perdido Beach Resort; The Wharf; City of Orange Beach. The number of Platinum ($25,000), Gold ($10,000), and Silver ($5,000) sponsors is also growing.
“We are incredibly grateful, not just for the financial contributions, but for the belief in what we are building here. Our partners understand that this is more than a stadium or a scoreboard; it’s about creating experiences, opportunities, and pride for our students and our entire community,’’ said Superintendent Randy Wilkes. “Their generosity sets the tone for what promises to be a landmark year.”
Orange Beach City Schools and the Makos Academics has set a fundraising goal of $700,000, including funds generated through upcoming MAAAC events and activities such as the annual MAAAC Gala, Orange Beach Seafood Festival, Freedom Fest, and Mako Masters golf tournament.
