O.B. Fat Tuesday Parade will have 80 plus units
The City of Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade will be begin at 2 p.m. on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 17, with more than 80 units expected to take part. Participating groups include the Orange Beach High School band and cheerleaders, Bon Temps Cabrix, Treasures of the Isle, Sirens of the Sea, Order of Disorder, Order of Aurora, Maidens in Pink Stilettos, Mystics of Pleasure, and The Marshals, among many others.
The parade rolls on Perdido Beach Boulevard, starting at the traffic signal at Wolf Bay Lodge, east of Phoenix West, and travel east ending at the intersection at Highway 161 and Perdido Beach Boulevard, just past the Publix Shopping Center.
Typically, the Orange Beach Police Department keeps the roads open for as long as possible before the parade
