O.B. Wolf Bay Bridge info meeting is Oct. 22 at Community Center

The City of Orange Beach will be hosting a public information meeting for the proposed Wolf Bay Bridge project from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, October 22 at the Orange Beach Community Center.
The proposed Wolf Bay Bridge will extend from Alabama 161 to County Road 95 over the Intracoastal Waterway, within the City of Orange Beach. This meeting will have no formal presentation. The public is invited to attend any time between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to view information, ask questions and offer comments. The information available will acquaint the public with the proposed project consisting of a 2-lane roadway that will extend north from AL 161 at AL 180 to County Road 95 and will include a new bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as information being used to apply for a bridge permit from the U.S. Coast Guard. Comments from the public on potential navigational and environmental effects associated with the proposed project are welcome.
Written statements and/or comments may be submitted at the time of the meeting. In addition, written comments will be accepted through Monday, October 29, 2018 (seven days following the meeting). These written comments must be mailed to: City of Orange Beach, ATTN: Wolf Bay Bridge Comments; P.O. Box 458; Orange Beach, AL 36561. The Orange Beach Community Center is located at 27235 Canal Road.
