OWA’s Sept. 25 Community Safety Day includes Dash To The Cash

OWA will host its 4th annual Community Safety Day on Saturday, Sept. 25 beginning at 5 p.m. During this free event at Downtown OWA, guests can celebrate first responders, public safety officials, and local non-profit groups that support the betterment of Baldwin County.
Kids activities include Pin the Badge on the Police Officer, “What to say when you call 911” fill-in-the-blank and coloring sheets, and music from DJ Patrick.
Over on OWA’s Island, ringmaster lawn games will be available beginning at 6pm along with free live music from Alabama’s 56LOW. Cap off the evening with a showing of The Greatest Showman at 7:45 p.m.
Guests can also arrive early that morning to watch or participate in Gravity Island’s Dash to the Cash competition at 10 a.m. Competitors will run the Aqua Play obstacle courses on Lake OWA during a timed race and compete for cash prizes. Race info: GravityIslandWatersports.com.
