Pensacola Crawfish Fest April 28-30 in downtown Pensacola

Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, Voodoo Gumbo and Zydefunk feat. Rockin’ Dopsie are the headline bands for the 33rd annual Pensacola Crawfish Festival scheduled April 28-30 in downtown Pensacola’s Bartram Park. Festival hours are Friday, April 28 from noon to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more info, call (850) 433-6512 or visit fiestaoffiveflags.org.
Grammy Award winning, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, will be taking the entertainment stage on Friday night. Since their Grammy win of the Best Zydeco or Cajun Album in 2011, they have been rocking the stage all over the country. During their 20-year career, they have released 10 albums, including: “Who Stole the Hot Sauce?,” “Take Me To The Zydeco,” and most recently, “Zydeco Junkie.” With their mixture of funk, blues and Zydeco, this group will be sure to get you on your feet. Voodoo Gumbo will be returning to the Pensacola Crawfish Festival for their third year in a row. Known as “the ultimate party band,” Bartram Park will be rocking Saturday night with Voodoo Gumbo’s combination of rock, dance and country. On Sunday afternoon, Zydefunk featuring Rockin Dopsie will be taking you to Louisiana with their mixture of funk, jazz and blues. Based out of Lafayette, Zydefunk brings their sound to many festivals around the South.
