Perdido Bay Optimist Essay Contest Winners
The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay honored its essay contest winners at a recent breakfast meeting. The theme was “How Optimism Has Paved My Road to Success.” The club winner will have the opportunity to advance to the district contest to compete for a $2,500 college scholarship funded by the Optimist International Foundation. Pictured: This year’s winners are First Place, Mackenzie Sullivan who received a Gold Medal and a $150 cash prize. Second Place was Josiah Marquez who received a Silver Medal and $100 cash prize. Third Place was Ryleigh Fogus who received a Bronze Medal and $50 cash prize. All three students attend Elberta High School.
