Perdido Beach Resort Half Marathon Raises $17,348 For Jennifer Moore Foundation
Nick Liversedge (1:24:32) and Emma Bell (1:28:34) were the respective overall champions, but the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation was the big winner at the 2nd Annual Perdido Beach Resort Half Marathon, Fun Run and 5k Run on March 8. The event raised $17,348 to help that local non-profit continue to create a compassionate and informed community that instills positive mental health and resiliency in Baldwin County youth. The 470 participating racers enjoyed post race fun that included a bubbles on the beach brunch with champagne, food and spa stations, music and family activities. PBR offered special overnight accommodation rates for participants. Next year’s race will be held on March 7.
