Presentation of Kevin Cobb’s 2019 Zydeco Festival poster
At the June 17th meeting of the Gulf Shores City Council, the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance presented to the City the original 2019 poster for the Zydeco and Crawfish Festival. The Festival is an annual event, which is held in mid-April and is sponsored by the City of Gulf Shores. The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance is the organization, which acquires artists for the Festival. Each year, a “call to artists” is conducted for submission of a rendering for the annual poster. The work of Kevin Cobb was selected for 2019. Copies of the poster are available at the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance for $15. The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization with office and art gallery at 225 E 24th Ave. in the Waterway Village District of Gulf Shores.
