Registration open for Perdido Key Fishing Rodeo

Early bird registration for the 2nd Annual Perdido Key Fishing Rodeo ends May 31. Register at visitperdido.com. The multi-species tournament will be held July 25- 27 with three days of exciting inshore and offshore competition. Entertainer Bait & Tackle (13506 Perdido Key D.) located under the east side of the Theo Baars Bridge on the Intracoastal Waterway, will be the host & weigh-in site. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each division.
Fishing opens Friday, July 25 at midnight. Weigh-ins take place Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Entertainer Bait & Tackle.
Inshore divisions include Speckled Trout, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder Offshore divisions are Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel.
Registration after May 31 is $40 for adults and $25 for children under 12. There is an optional Trash Can Slam division at $20 per person.
Raffle drawings will take place on Sunday at 5 p.m. Each registered angler receives one raffle ticket. Additional tickets and 50/50 tickets will be available for cash-only purchase on-site. For more info, call Tammy Thurow at 850.492.4660 or email tammy@perdidochamber.com.
