Registration opens Aug. 17 for grades 3 to 6 at Coastal Art Center of Orange Beach
Registration for fall student art classes at the Coastal Art Center of Orange Beach opens online Aug. 17. Students in grades 3-6 will work with professional artists in The Clay Studio and The Hot Shop, as well as paint, draw, build and bake at one of the finest art facilities on the Gulf Coast.
Masks are required and safe distance protocols will be in place, as each class will consist of only 10 students to ensure safe distance and provide each artist the attention they deserve.
Cost is $165 for each 12-week sessions with four date/time options: Tuesdays from 10 -12 OR from 3-5; Thursdays from 10-12 OR 3-5. Classes start on Sept. 8 & 10.
Elementary students will be picked up in the CAC van at OBES under adult supervision. Parents must notify school with their transportation approval. Parents may also drop children off for the 3 p.m. class.

Although it will close on Sept. 7 for Labor Day, the campus at the Coastal Art Center of Orange Beach is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. ‘til 4 p.m. while following Governor Ivey’s orders by wearing masks, practicing physical distancing and implementing regular surface sanitizing.
Live glass and clay demos are happening daily and fun family activities are scheduled throughout the day. (251-981-2787 or CoastalArtsCenter.com). Hot Shop or clay studio individual lessons are not available right now.
Located on beautiful Wolf Bay at 26389 Canal Rd., the CAC campus also includes a fine arts gallery & gift shop, and access to the pier and picnic area at Orange Beach Waterfront Park.
